Synopsis

When socially awkward Frank and Lindsay meet on their way to a destination wedding, they soon discover they have a lot in common: they both hate the bride, the groom, the wedding, themselves, and most especially each other. As the weekend's events continually force them together—and their cheerlessness immediately isolates them from the other guests—Frank and Lindsay find that if you verbally spar with someone long enough, anything can happen. When debate gives way to desire, they must decide which is stronger: their hearts or their common sense.

It’s a terrible week, because none of those screeners showed up. I normally don’t like giving the Pick of the Week when I’m still waiting for the screener, but that’s not an option this week, so Incredibles 2 wins. More...

Limited and VOD Releases: Don’t Wait for Tomorrow to see a Limited Release

Inventing Tomorrow

It is a very busy week for limited releases, at least in terms of secondary VOD titles. There are only eight entries in the main list, and a couple of those didn’t have enough reviews, but I included anyway, because all of their reviews are currently positive. Inventing Tomorrow and Pick of the Litter are among a handful of documentaries that are worth checking out, as is Let the Corpses Tan. More...
